For the past 25 years I’ve used design as one of my creative outlets. Fortunately enough — I’ve been able to turn that into a career.
It started when I went to school for architecture.
The concepting of ideas, learning about spaces and structural grids, and building systems really piqued my interest. They are also the key tenets of my design practice that I continue to use on a regular basis.
But my passion for snowboarding, music, and photography pushed me towards design.
The culture cultivated self-expression and I’ve been soaking it up ever since.
I’ve worked for startups, and agencies, and have owned my own design studio. Right now, I spend my time freelancing — desiging digital experiences for lifestlye and tech brands.
I’ve had a chance to work with big and small brands like, Audi, Oakley, Callaway Golf, Aspen Snowmass, Sports Authority, and Dispatch Health*
I enjoy spending my time with my family, slashing deep pow turns on my snowboard, getting lost in our Sprinter Van, and getting that passport stamped in some far off land.
I'm currently seeking out partnerships with like minded brands and agencies to help build digital experiences that create joy and excitement for the consumer. Being on my own has allowed me to forge new relationships from all over — and it's these relationships I'm most excited to build, now and into the future.
I started this small, but mighty design studio, with my business partner. He and I grew the team to have 6 employees, a healthy roster of clients, and a lifetimes worth of experiences. I stepped out on my own to spend more time with my family and recharge the batteries.
Working at Factory was a stepping stone into building meaningful relationships with teammates, clients, and consumers. Learning to navigate that world and foster those relationships is what has made me the designer I am today. Where's a designer if they can't clearly communicate their ideas to their peers? This is the craft I focused in on, and it helped me grow from a Designer, to an Art Director, to a team leading Associate Creative Director.
I love making things with my head and my heart. So say hello, and let’s start making some magic.
